While the term ‘childfree’ may be offensive to the majority of the population, I do not see anything wrong about it. It’s 2019, and people are allowed to express themselves. As much as a person can express their sexuality, their gender and all other choices outrightly, there is no reason why they should not express their choice to be childfree. In a society where people are always questioned why they choose not to have kids, this needs to be expressed.

The t-shirts, mugs and all other things mentioned in the article does not have to call for banning the word. If that is the case, we should have banned almost every word in the English dictionary.

Some choose to be childfree, and if they are proud to be so, they have the right to be. The planet needs more childfree people, and by being childfree, an individual is only doing good for human race and the planet.
