She dared to bloom where no flower would,
Braving all mighty odds;
Tackled nature’s gravest moods,
While crows in fear, cawed!
Her petals bore peculiar hues
One could not comprehend;
Here and there, a little blues,
En masse, a perfect blend!
Her fragrance that lingered at night
Would set you in a daze,
But when the sun is burning bright
Effortlessly, she slays!
Beside the shrubs and barren land
Deep in the wilderness,
She thrived till her life had spanned
And bloomed to her fullness.
Oh, Wildflower, you are like a dream
Amongst nightmares untold;
But even then, you chose to gleam,
Stay beautiful and bold!
