Is Coffee Really Bad for You? Science Says Otherwise

Be it any time of the day, a cup of freshly-brewed bean juice always makes my mood better. On a workday, I just can’t deal with my coworkers without a cuppa. On weekends, my late morning brunch isn’t complete without a cup either. But, those are a little more special. I grind the beans, take in the aroma, and brew it using my French press. My entire house smells like fresh coffee, and that itself wakes me up. Well, at least a little.

I’ve met a lot of coffee lovers, and some of my friends ask me for a cup of coffee as soon as they visit me, just because they think I make a good one. Coffee aficionados come in different groups — there are the purists, and there are also the PSL (pumpkin spice latte) groups. But there is one group that I will never get along with — the decaf ones.

Then, there are the people who don’t drink coffee at all. They say it’s bad for you, all while chugging a can of Red Bull on their empty stomach even before they had their breakfast. Sorry, but excuse me?

While the ‘Coffee Naysayers’ can go about minding their own business, some scientists and medical professionals have interesting news. It turns out that coffee is actually good for you — in moderation.
