Introverts — there are many words used by people to describe them.
“Boring”, “Selfish”, “Lonely”, “Unhappy”, “Sad” and “Demotivating” are some of them.
Contrary to popular belief, introverts are not really that uninteresting. History has taught us that some of the world’s greatest pioneers — be it artists, scientists, politicians or celebrities are mostly introverts. Factually, introverts are more goal-oriented, focused and successful when compared to extroverts.
Introverts Make Great Leaders
The classic myth is that introverts avoid taking the lead since they do not like socialization.
Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Steve Wozniak, Elon Musk and Warren Buffet are all introverts. It is obvious that they are all great leaders. Though Steve Jobs took the helm at Apple, it was Wozniak who actually built the platform for the company.
The truth is that introverts do not hate socialization, but instead hate ‘unwanted’ socialization. Small talk and rambling are not for introverts; instead, they are focused and love deep conversations.
They limit their conversations to their interests and tend to focus on a subject during their conversations.
