The hardest part… is letting go, nor taking part…
Those are part of the lyrics of a Coldplay song titled The Hardest Part. As humans, most of us ‘fall’ in love, and that’s a term that has been coined quite well in the English language. Falling in love is easy, but as it seems these days, staying in love with a person is hard. What were you thinking? We still have 7.5 billion others to choose from!
Loving someone maybe easy, and if you’re like me, you may end up putting your heart and soul into it. But somewhere down the line if the other person decides that you both should part ways, it could be hard.
What Does ‘Unlove’ Even Mean?
When I typed the word, there was no red line under it, which probably means that it exists in the dictionary. Some sources define unlove as ‘hate’, but I vehemently disagree with that. If you have had a bad experience with someone that made you hate them, it could be a little easier to forget them and move on. Memories may always come back to haunt us, but it could be easier to move on if you made the call.
But if you loved someone and they decided to end it by hurting you, forgetting them is not easy. It could turn to be a toxic process and affect an individual mentally, physically and even psychologically.
